As a “technical sleuth” with over 20 years of experience, I’ve been called a guru, tech wizard, mad scientist, and the ever-popular “geek.” My career has spanned from end-user support to infrastructure management. Leveraging this extensive knowledge and my freelancing background, I founded Gumshoe Technologies.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a range of organizations, from small businesses to large enterprises, gaining insight into the challenges they face in making technology-related decisions. These challenges include budgeting, planning for future needs, and managing the costs associated with purchasing, implementing, and maintaining technology.
Recognizing the particular struggles of non-profits, small businesses, and start-ups, I began offering freelance technical support. My services include building custom professional-grade desktops and providing managed IT services, aimed at reducing labor costs associated with IT.
At Gumshoe Technologies, the focus is on the customer. We start by reviewing the client’s technology infrastructure to identify their needs and preferences. Considering their budget, we develop an action plan with multiple options, allowing them to choose the best fit for their unique situation. This approach facilitates building long-term relationships with clients, which include retail stores, mechanic shops, medical practices, and non-profits such as churches. We find it rewarding to help small businesses and entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
